NeuAura`s shoes are manufactured in a factory situated in the mountains of Brazil, which has been awarded a "Green Seal" from Brazilian Technological Institute for Leather, Shoes and Accessories. This seal is awarded to manufacturers based on their compliance of Brazil`s environmental laws. The factory received the Green Seal in recognition of its laudable work in some of the following areas:
-Recycling and disposing all the material waste generated from the factory at a recycling facility located in the vicinity
-Using water-based adhesives and less toxic solvents and chemicals that are safer for the environment
-Advocating recycling and protection/preservation of endangered animals to their surrounding communities
-Sponsoring a habitat that protects endangered species native to the area
The factory is also a member of an association called "Um Amanha Maiz Feliz" (A Happier Tomorrow), which was created for the purpose of maintaining environmental cleanliness in all their manufacturing processes and respecting the environment, which their community values most.
All materials are sourced local to the factory to save on transportation and fuel. NeuAura believes that by aligning itself with this factory, they can take their brand to the next level of providing footwear that is both fashion-forward and environmentally sound.
