Dr. Cow`s Aged Cashew & Crystal Manna Algae Cheese is sea-foam or light-blue in color, aged for 3 months, and made from organic raw cashew nuts with Crystal Manna flakes. Crystal Manna is one of natures most perfect foods. This unique blue-green algae grows wild in the spring-fed pristine waters of Upper Klamath Lake, Oregon. High in vitamins, minerals, rare trace elements, essential fatty acids, including Omega-3, phytonutrients, active enzymes, amino acids, proteins, and complex sugars.
Firm and mellow, with a hint of tang, this cheese is perfect for spreading on crackers or vegetables. Please note that this cheese is fairly strong (not meant for fans of milder cheddar and mozzarella flavor).
